Our Stories
Christians on Campus has impacted real lives of real people. This club continues to provide a thriving Christian community to many college students at CSULB. We have compiled a few of our stories pursuing the Lord Jesus with those who call upon His name out of a pure heart (2 Timothy 2:22).

Pursuing Christ with Others
Through my college years I have come to realize that as a Christian I absolutely cannot make it on my own. I am now a senior in college and I know the only reason I am still pursing is due to the other believers. Paul discovered the secret that he told to Timothy in his second epistle that was not just meant for Timothy but for all the believers. We must "pursue...with those who call on the name of the Lord out of a pure heart". Christians on campus has enabled me with the opportunity to pursue with many other young believers my age, that are pursuing out of a pure heart. We live in an age and world that is very much against God and occupies us with many things other than Him. I cannot exclude myself from this. Many times I find my heart occupied by many things not of God. But I have been constantly refreshed, enlivened and encouraged daily through the bible studies, fellowship, wonderful times in different homes, and ministry meetings. As a young Christian I am beginning to learn the secret to have a heart for the Lord and to be occupied with just Christ Himself.

Peace in Christ
I began to be involved with Christians on Campus during my first Fall semester. I feel so blessed that I could spend the last two years of my undergraduate studies with such an awesome group of Christians. I would sum up my experience of meeting with Christians on Campus with one word: rest. In Matthew 11:28, there is the record of a wonderful speaking of the Lord Jesus: Come to Me all who toil and are burdened, and I will give you rest. I would say that I grew so much closer to the Lord after meeting with the club and I experienced a real rest. Many of the pressures I'd placed upon myself to try and be a good Christian were lifted by Him and I really began to see that Christ wants us to simply enjoy Him, especially through the word of God. Now that I've had some time to reflect, I truly believe it was God's sovereign arrangement to connect me with Christians on Campus where I could be encouraged in every aspect of my Christian life and go on with others who simply love the Lord Jesus Christ.
